Ron Montgomery - Director

With over a decade in the travel industry, Ron Montgomery’s passion to understanding the unique motivations behind each of his client’s travels led him to establish Spirit of Travel in 2018. His formative travels during early adulthood significantly shaped his worldview and approach to creating personalised travel experiences.

Now a resident of New Zealand, originally from Canada, Ron’s global experiences enrich his travel advisory services. Alongside his partner Zoe, he is raising two young explorers, passing on his passion for discovery. At Spirit of Travel, Ron aims to transform each journey into a deeply personal adventure, reflecting the unique aspirations of every traveller.

Zoe Farmer - Operations Manager

Zoe Farmer, originally from the UK, has always been enchanted by diverse cultures. Her childhood trips across Wales, England, and Europe ignited a fascination with foreign countries. After a year working and travelling around Australia in her late teens she pursued a degree in Australian Studies, before eventually settling in New Zealand.

At Spirit of Travel, Zoe plays a pivotal role in researching and supporting client itineraries, bringing her extensive knowledge and personal insights to each journey. When not delving into travel plans, Zoe dedicates her time to her two young children, sharing with them the joys of discovery and adventure.
