Vietnam is really three countries wearing one name. The north is mountains and mist, hill tribes and terraced rice, cool enough some mornings to need a jacket. The centre is imperial, unhurried, lantern-lit streets that have barely changed in a century. The south is fast and warm and modern, its history closer to the surface than most visitors expect.
Most itineraries try to fit all three in at a sprint. We would rather understand which of these actually pulls at you, and build a pace around that, rather than a checklist that happens to touch every region without properly living in any of them.
